Due to rising parking costs and the significant time required to access city centre venues, we have had to introduce a city centre surcharge.
Recent bookings have cost us nearly £60 in parking fees alone, and travelling in and out of the city centre is regularly adding over an hour each way to our journey — despite us being only 20 minutes away. For example, at a recent event it took 45 minutes just to exit a car park, and many venues are difficult to access for loading and unloading. Last nights 2 hour booking took us over 5½ hours in total
To help cover these increasing costs, the following charges will now apply to all city centre bookings:
£25 parking fee (we will refund this after the booking if the venue provides free parking)
£50 additional travel/time charge
This brings the total city centre surcharge to £75.
On our booking system, you will now see an add-on titled “City Centre Surcharge – £75”. If your event is located in the city centre and you do not select this option, it will be added to your remaining balance. This payment is required for your booking to be confirmed.
